CBOX RULES
1. All site rules also apply to the cbox, which means all member should be respectful, treat topics and the opinions of others with respect and avoiding argument, and including all those who wish to be involved.
2. Complaints and disagreements should not be brought into the cbox. If you have a problem with something site-related or member-related, contact a staff member privately so the issue can be addressed. Posting in the cbox only creates a negative environment that won’t fix the problem.
3. Questions explicitly requesting an action from staff (such as mentor/apprentice issues, thread cleaning, etc.) should be done through PM and not in the cbox. We often disappear completely from the box without warning, so privately is the best way to get things done.
4. No advertising in the cbox. We have a perfectly good advertising area for that. Providing links (unless notifying of affiliate-related actions) is considered advertising, so please avoid it. Let’s focus on CTS in the cbox and what we’re doing here, yeah?
5. Avoid spamming messages in the cbox (3 or more pointless messages in a row, such as saying ‘hi’, ‘hello’,’comment’ in three consecutive messages).
6. Guests with questions or inquires for staff should direct these to skyy and her socks at cawnen@gmail.com, rather than bring them up in the cbox, simply because they tend to get lost quickly.
7. Please, avoid asking where someone is in the cbox if you haven’t particularly noticed them around lately. Check their profile first as often enough they have been around, and check the absences board in case there is a known absence. Remember everyone has lives outside the site that stop them coming on occasionally. Posting in the cbox isn’t going to have them suddenly appear, and likely creates worry across the site, along with putting pressure on them if they happen to notice and can’t or don’t feel up to being involved there and then. Let's just be patient and let people movein the most comfortable way for them.
